A Guide to Bean Selection and Preparation from “Real Simple”

In September 2011, the USDBC was contacted by “Real Simple” magazine for their upcoming article- a guide on how to select and prepare dried beans.  Discover which bean is full of potassium or magnesium and determine for yourself which is better- canned or dried?  Designed to be a “tear-and-save” guide, here is the full article, “use your bean”, written by Lindsay Funston and beautifully photographed by  Con Poulos.  Happy National Baked Bean Month!
