USDBC SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS GO GLOBAL

Over the past year we have worked to create and enhance our social media presence by making full use of twitter, facebook, and most recently Instagram. While these have been launched in the US, it’s easy to have a global impact with social media regardless of location.

To complement our presence and broaden our outreach with culturally appropriate material and messaging, we have launched and enhanced different social media tools in some of our important emerging markets.
We have three new Instagram accounts; in the Americas – @Todo con frijol (beans with everything), in Brazil, @Mais Feijao (more beans), and in Turkey, @Fasulyeli Gunler (Bean Days). This is in addition to our @legume chef Instagram account in Spain that targets chefs and consumers.

In Turkey we have also launched a new Website for Fasulyeli Gunler that will have more detailed nutritional information, recipes, reports, etc.
We are excited for this opportunity to reach more diverse target audiences, including chefs, culinary influencers, and consumers, with our messages about the versatility and quality of US dry beans.
